Police discover SUV toting load of cocaine

Manitoba RCMP Roving Traffic Unit seizes large amount of cocaine

On March 29, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Manitoba RCMP Roving Traffic Unit stopped a westbound vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway in the RM of Reynolds. Officers had reason to believe the driver of the vehicle, a 29-year-old male from Alberta, was in possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The large RM of Reynolds in southeastern Manitoba includes Hwy 1 east of Steinbach, near the Ontario boarder.
