Long Plain Detachment - Police Update: Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Skyler Laporte.
Laporte was last seen on April 20th in the morning hours. He was leaving a residence on Ojibway Trail in Long Plain First Nation and was supposed to be heading to Winnipeg.
Laporte was reported missing to police on July 24th after his family grew concerned about his well-being.
Skyler Laporte is described as First Nations, 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 161 pounds, medium build with short dark coloured hair. It is not known what he was last wearing, only that he got into a small Chevrolet Cavalier type car.
Police are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact MFNPS, Long Plain Detachment at 204-252-4480.
